The 2010 FIFA World Cup took place in South
Africa between 11th June 2010 and 11th July 2010 and was fiercely contested by
32 qualifying nations including the United States of America. The USA team made it to the knockout round of 16 only
to lose a fiercely fought contest with Ghana in extra time. It was the USA's only loss of the tournament after
